Just out of interest, why do you think you need a new chain? Timing belts need scheduled replacement, but chains can go on indefinitely if they're in good condition. What checks have you done to indicate your chain is worn beyond it's useful life?

my xjr v8 now for sale, service history, loads of expensive bills, not long had head gaskets done,,heads skimmed ,latest timing chains, tensioners, guides, new radiator, all valley hoses changed, new thermostat, supercharger serviced while off,new battery, new tyres fitted last year, recon diff fitted last March, think a knock sensor has gone, changed one when heads done, doesn't affect car, no laqure problems only a couple of rust issues below rear lights but not gone through, interior could do with a refresh never bothered me, I'll do it if it doesn't sell looking for £5000
