  1. Hi Dave, still awaiting a costing of the work on the Jag. It seems from a garbled message yesterday that one of the cats is burnt out - sensors may be u/s. As the car went into "reduced performance" on Tuesday and misfired badly, they want to replace the plugs as well. I remain far from convinced of the voracity of all of this - but we shall see. i do entrust the garage witghh all the work, over the last 6 yrs. Difficulties have only recently arisen - since the EML light. The garage agree with you that this has compounded a number of issues. i will keep you posted. Kind regards Dominic
  2. I have had my F Pace for a month now & am really pleased with it! Having never having sat in one until I test drove this one, I was pleasantly surprised and bought it there & then! I have enjoyed it for the month I have had it so far, and am looking forward to driving up to York in November rather than the local runs doing at the moment. It's a '17 reg 2.0ltr Sport with 22" wheels in Caesium blue (which I haven't seen many around!). I have changed the lettering & symbols on the back to black which I think look good 🙂 I look forward to reading posts and answers to questions; I am sure I will have a few :-)

Bought my girl last October and have enjoyed every mile since! Always dreamt of owning a Jag and finally after years of small french hatchbacks i bought my first cat!
  4. Hi all, I should be collecting my new (but used of course) Jag XF from Arun in the next few weeks. She's a 64 plate with only 45k miles on her, so far, a 3.0 S V6 diesel portfolio. She will be serviced and MOT'd prior to collection but there is no record of a cambelt change in the service history. Should I get this done as well, given that the garage does seem to be recommended here anyway? What is the typical indy price for a cambelt change on one of these? Parts included? Is there more than 1 belt that needs to be done? Water pump as well? Cheers!
  5. Hi Fellow Jag lovers. I've been a Jaguar lover for years and have owned 3 in the past, an XJS, XJ12 and XJ6. No one can beat the styling of Jaguars! Is it just me or do the sexiest jags have somewhat of a phallic symbolism LOL The XK120 coupe FHC, the XKE FHC and 2+2 are perfect examples. It's tough to accomplish the shape in DHC form. Anyways, I just joined the forum and I'm trying to advertise a Series 1XJ6 Daimler Sovereign LHD that I'm trying to sell through eBay. Not sure if that's permissible for a new member? I was hoping to get your blessing for posting it here. So here it is for those who are interested, and please forgive me if this is out of line for a new member. eBay Item ID: 204136945539 1972 Series 1 Daimler Sovereign Series 1 XJ6 Left Hand Drive located in Portland Oregon USA. https://www.ebay.com/itm/204136945539 Thank you!
