  12. Guys, i've noticed that hardly anyone (Not even steve) Has done their profile, it only takes about 5 minutes. You only have to put on basic info, if you think something is too personal then dont put it on but this is a club. Whats the point if no one knows who anyone is or anything about each other. Its supposed to be about sharing views and a common interest. I also notice that there are very few regular users, we really should spread the word of the club to gain more members and we need to use the forum more to keep it alive. Its a good forum with a lot of work gone into it, it just needs to be used more.
  13. You want 80{1} Nm / torque for the wheels of an X Type.

  17. Hi Sam. I'd be glad to help you with any pointers. If you have any questions i'll be glad to help if i can. I can tell you that Jaguar is the way forword with amazing value, you get a lot of car for your money, Beautiful to look at and great motoring pedigree.
  18. Firstly, Well chosen in the car stakes. I love my S-Type and it is by far the best car i've ever driven (And i've owned some great cars Alfa Romeo 156, Nissan 200sx and others) I love the smooth ride and the perfect balance of Power, performance and Luxury. The only problems i've had with min are an electrical fault with the central locking and a suspension lower ball joint needed to be replaced in the front near side. It is however a very relyable car. i left it for 2 weeks burried under snow, then when i came to use it it started straight away first time. Although it is heavy on the fuel around the town etc its actually quite fuel effective on the motorways and duel carriage ways only revveing at a smidge over 2000 RPM at 70mph. It has Great road presence and there arent many better ways of making an entrance than in a Jaguar S Type. Hope this reply is insightful enough!
  19. Congratulations on your purchase! Which model did you go for? Please post pictues for us all to enjoy, and welcome to the club!
