Hi guys and girls Just joined the forum the other day - got myself a 2004 X - Type Diesel Sport, been promising myself one for a little while. Second day, though back to the dealers with an immobiliser problem which took the fun out of it a bit - hopefully get it back tomorrow. Anyway looking forward to chatting with you guys Cheers Kev

Hi guys and girls I have just got myself an X-Type Diesel Sport and was wondering if any one had issues with the the immobiliser. Battery is ok in the fob but the car will not start and the red immobiliser light by the gear lever is staying on. The car is back at the dealers now for them to check it out, but was not sure if this is a common problem.
