Jaguar S Type brakes
For Trevor, the House is a National Trust Property I was visiting, I had delussions of Gandour, so took the photo with the House in the background, I'm afraid my Home is quite ordinary. Thanks for the nice words about my Jag! Yours probably cost 20 times more, so sell the car and buy your Mansion. For Peter, yes it is a great colour and we just may get a little more Sun down here, Regards to you both, Colin

Gosh it looks Blue from the Photo, still they are great cars and so comfortable, I am really pleased with mine, hence the extra expense of the Number Plate. All the best , Colin

I have been told that my discs are a little rusty and will have to be changed at the next servicing, I have been looking around at prices and for Discs and Pads I have been quoted £650, does anyone know a less expensive way around this problem. Thank you !

Automatic CLUNK
Hi Dave and Peter and all out there in S Type Land, as predicted by my friends, I came across some reluctance to change the Transmission Oil at Cornwall's Main Jaguar Dealers, But it was done, and a reprogramming of the ECU,and I have a CLUNK FREE Motor Car, as suggested like a NEW CAR! Thanks to everyone who contributed to the subject, it carried some weight at the Garage as I took along the replies I had. Cheers everybody. Colin

Automatic CLUNK
When I select drive, the car makes a small jerk, but makes quite a loud CLUNK! Today I had passengers who own 2 Jaguars and they said this did not happen on either of theirs.

Squeaky Steering
Further to my annoying squeak, today I went to my jaguar dealer to buy the additive for the power steering that was recommended by one of our fine members. The dealers knew all about it but didn't have any in. So I will need to get some from the internet, BUT the Dealers said it's not just a matter of pouring it in, there is a procedure to follow. Which brings me to the point of this question, does anyone know the Procedure? Thank you in advance.

Thanks Trevor I'm more of a Beatles fan myself, but I like it played painfully loud.! It's a silly question but where do you add the additive. Colin

Thanks folks I will have a look at the carpet and dig out the WD40. I wasn't sure if there was a grease nipple somewhere. Regards Colin
