X type boot button not working

Hi

The button on the boot of my x type has stopped working. I can still open the boot with the remote control. I have managed to remove the button and wiring up to the first connector block and tested the button which works. I have looked to try and find a fuse that is connected to the boot button but there doesn't seem to be one. Has anyone had a similar problem that they managed to rectify. I understand that failure of the boot opening mechanism appears to be a common problem but it is only the boot button that won't open the boot, there is no fault on the button itself!
