I've got an X Type 2002. i"m looking for the best option to be able to somehow play my IPhone music via the car cd/radio without having to spend too much money. Any advice would be appreciated.

Use a transmitter which plays music from phones and MP3 players via the radio on a spare frequency .

 

Used one on an old Mondeo and it worked really well

 

You can get them really cheap( they even sell them in Tesco) .
