Cheers Trevor, have a look tomorrow and let u know. Much appreciated. Car rear parking sensors don't work been told it's faulty control module, is there anyone who does these for less than a mortgage lol

IT WOULD BE BEST TO LOOK ON EBAY FOR MODULE

BUT WHAT MAKES THEM SURE IT IS THAT IT COULD BE JUST A SENSOR

When you first turn the ignition on there is a high pitched tone that lasts for a few seconds if that helps?

put an ear to them first and hear if they tick

Looks ok but will get mate to have look when he gets off honeymoon. Thought about seeing if there were any owners near me who would give it the once over, might just be me as not had diesel car before ?

I will give you my no 01462811077 land line and tell you where to look and what you hope not to find

Much appreciated mate, off work soon so will give u a bell

Fingers crossed you get it sorted mate, its definitely a problem somewhere as my 2L d se was getting a steady indicated of 54mpg on a recent trip around European MWs. Normal crappy mw driving in the uk is 46-48.

Just had car on machine and checked out, air con pipes broken, egr tied up with cable ties, leaking inter cooler pipes - advice, uneconomical to repair, fumeing!!!!

That doesn't sound too expensive? You can replace the hoses and blank off the EGR.

Turbo whining too though, place I got it from said they will repair it so might not be all bad?
