hello everyone, im new too this so please bare with me.

im not a jag owner yet but looking to be -ish........

 

im currently looking at the 2.7 v6 twin turbo engine to go into my transit van, as the notorious fuelling system on my tdci is playing up hell and ive had enough and will not be firing money into a lost cause. 

 

would like to know the common faults and if i buy a donor car would it be possible? i know id be looking at a custom wiring loom and open ecu etc  and id like to convert to manual and still even use the 6 speed transit box if possible?? 

 

any help from the senior tec's would be very appreciated

With the time and money anything is possible!!!

I've even seen a merlin powered transit van!

Custom mounts will be a must, 6 speed manual and the V6 is virtually bomb proof, a good auto electrician should get the engine running.
