Afternoon Chaps.

I would like to start by saying what a useful forum I have found the JOC site to be. Already you have helped me with the 'hand-brake' fault, upgrading the satnav, and choosing a multi CD player.

My question is. I am buying some winter tyres. - no good trying to talk me out of it. My S type is the XS with 245/40 R80 tyres. I'm considering getting a new set of wheels to go with the tyres. Want to make sure that I am buying a set of wheels that are up to the job.

Any suggestions

Hi Steve, I would be more inclined to use winter tyres on the old wheels and purchase news wheels for the summer months to look after the wheels better if you have enough storage. Any old Town and Country tyres are suitable for winter motoring. A good choice of Jaguar wheels are with Coventry Wheels, I like the Hornet in particular however, everyone got their favourite
