First time Jaguar owner with 2010 XJ 3.0 V6D and loving every second driving her (has to be a 'she' right?).

Only put her into 'S' once so far - need drier and better roads than I have round me (and no cameras!) - think 'The Flag' might have to wait for the summer and some straight roads so I get to enjoy her at her best.

Looking forward to reading and sharing experiences of others owners across the marque...

hello neil welcome to the club. nice to have another x351 owner in the club x351 is the model no. and yes you really must press the flag button "dynamic" button when given the chance, put into sport then press the flag dynamic button the dash will turn red, and you can ither use the paddle shifts on just drive as normal, think you will love the results   liz

Hello Neil and a warm welcome to THE JAGUAR OWNERS CLUB, friendly lot inn here and very helpful if you have any questions. Unfortunately we are out of season for Sport/Dynamic modes, I will only let my toy out of the garage when the sky is blue

Welcome to the Club, Neil.

Liz has given you a nice picture of what your car will do, and Kenny has also given a little caveat  --  these cars can really move when you want them to.

I don't even use the "S" button in bad weather.  Sir William Lyons said about the S Type that it had "Grace, Pace and Space."  These cars are very comfortable, but there are times when the Pace has to give way to the Grace!

Regards,

Peter.
