Hi All

I'm fitting projector puddle lights in the front doors of my 01 x type, I'm going to piggy back the wires to the lights in the foot well as they operate when the doors open, question is, what's the best way to feed the wires through the rubber boot between the door and wing? If any one has done it or knows how to do it any advice would be much appreciated

This isn't going to be as easy as i thought the electrics to the door are through 2 connectors, I've got my vault meter out to find power in the original plugs from the door harness but i need to be into the interior light circuit, is there a way through the door into the cabin? I'm a bit stumped

Retrofitting puddle lights has been done before but as far as I'm aware there's no threads here on this forum as to how to do it.
