First Jag

Featured Replies

I live in the States and just purchased a 2009 XF - my first Jag. It replaced a Lexus ES330 that was in a very minor accident, but was deemed a total loss by the insurance company. This XF is the fanciest car I've ever owned.

It does have a few problems which I will be addressing before long, but the two most concerning ones are:

1. The fuel door is very difficult to open. With the vehicle completely unlocked, I have to push on the trailing edge of it a number of times before it will open. The wife isn't going to like that.

2. The rear passenger side door only locks and unlocks manually with the lever on the inside of that door. For now, we are leaving it locked, but it could get to be a big hassle soon.

Any advice on these problems, or just on using the forum?

Hello Dave and welcome to the Jaguar Owners Club. I apologise but I have no answer to your questions having not experienced such myself however, there are many members on that would have the same model you have so hopefully there will be someone who can shed some light on the issues, good luck
