Going to have some colour done, what do you guys think about the type of paint. Do I go down the eco. friendly waterbase route or the proven acrylic paint. Your thoughts as to longevity of finish, colour match etc. Your thoughts please

not sure what you mean when you say you're "going to have some colour done" what are you thinking? Perhaps I've missed a previous thread.

Sorry for being so vague, decided to go for the meaner look and dechrome the grille, bumper inserts etc, so decided to have the full bumpers front and rear fully sprayed to avoid what could be a colour mismatch, also will be having the car fully mopped to tie the colour in, hence the rather vague question.  Had a wing sprayed/bumper with acrylic 2 pack  on the XJ, (piccy below) match was good but in certain lights you could see a difference so wanted info as to what to expect if I go waterbase on the old girl. Regards
