Hello everyone,

I've been reading through the forums and you all seem very friendly, I wasn't going to register but I need some Jag help.

It's my dad's 60th birthday next month and he is a MASSIVE Jaguar fan, he has loved them for as long as I can remember.

I wanted to do something he'd really enjoy for his special birthday and looked into hiring a classic but the only local company I found seems to no longer exist (County Durham) and the next had no availability.

Has anyone got any ideas that will help me give him something to remember?

Thanks in Advance

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

How about hiring a Jaguar --  try Enterprise Car Rental -- and taking you Dad to the Classic Car Museum at Gaydon, right next door to to the new Jaguar factory.  It is near Coventry and just a couple of miles off the M40.

The Museum has some very nice classic cars to look at.  The Green S Type is one that Jaguar raced, and it is a 2.7 Diesel.  The other car I saw in a local car park!

Regards,

Peter.
