Mr Gary Marshall t,

Featured Replies

I've just purchased my first Jaguar which is a 2010 XF 3.0 D S.  I'm over the moon with it so far but can any members pre warn me of any possible problems with my vehicle going forward.  My car as done 55000 miles with full service history.

Thanks in advance for any replies

Welcome to the cub, Gary.

The XF is a rather nice car, and the 3.0 litre diesel is avery good and quite economical engine with a great turn of speed.

The diesel engine does need a good run once a month [if you do mostly short runs] to regenerate the DPF,  I do mostly short runs  with my S t]ype 2.7D plus the odd longer run and have not had a problem.

There are quite a few XF owners in the club who will share their experience with you.

Enjoy the Jaguar experience.

Regards,

Peter.
