Can anyone tell which size Jubilee clip I need to fix the hose on the coolant thermostat housing, as I need to replace it and I am not a lover of the spring clips used as standard. And it would be nice to have one ready to go.

Hi Matthew,

To get the size of a jubilee clip I usually put a tape measure round and nt the distance round, and take it from there.

The other method is to go to the Pound Shop and buy a whole card full of various sizes, making sure there are some biggish ones there.

Ok that makes sense, do I need to use gasket sealant as well as the gasket alone, is there a torque setting for the 3 bolts?
