I have just purchased 4 new Bridgestone Blizzak winter tyres, There doesn't seem to be many stocking this make in the UK (Maybe the reason I got them cheap lol) Has anyone else had any experience using this brand on a rear wheel drive.

They are good winter tires, but based on my experience the Michelin X-Ice Xi3 is a lot better.

It's been a few years, but I had a set put on my XJS after a snowfall where the car was sliding all over the place.  A week later, while I was at work, it snowed about 14".  There was a Dodge Dakota 4x4 in the lot spinning it's wheels.  I thought, o !Removed!, I'll never get out.  But the Blizzaks did the trick.  Got out with no wheel spin at all.

This y ear, I put Yokohomas on my XF.  They did the trick, too.

14"?? Country stops here with anything over 2" of snow...I've not fitted them yet and carefully stored!  I'm still trying to wear out the F1s fitted to use the wheels..Bought a new set of 20" 5 stars for summer use. Lucky I have an understanding wife :argue: As any visitors are quite impressed by the smell of new rubber in the entrance porch.
