Hi all,

I'm a frequent Traveller to Europe and love driving the car, it behaves faultlessly, UNTIL, 30 minutes from home, it struggled  and was hesitant under load to climb a small incline,  it felt almost as if it were being starved, on kicking down, it was slow to react, but with gentle throttling it resumed driving normally.

I'm suspecting a spark plug or coil pack. I have no engine lights on, etc.

When the car has is in normal use around home, it is faultless. It just seemed to be when engine was under optimum temperature and under load. I have an 03 x type, 2.1 petrol, any more ideas or suggestions please.

It could be poor fuel you could have picked up somewhere in Europe.....but would also recommend changing your fuel filter sometime which may cure it
