Bluetooth

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have just bought an x type 06 plate jag and it says no phone when I click the call button there Is no way of adding a phone after doing some research turns out my car has the ability to do bluetooth but hasn't been added as an extra. What's the cheapest way of getting this turned on.

Thanks guys I think I'm the youngest jag owner here at 24 😂

Hi

There's a 17 year old on here with a s-type, though he might be 18 now, so your not the youngest sorry

to get bluetooth, there's 2 options, A you need a phone module and bluetooth module, or B you need the later combined phone/bluetooth module

also you will need a mic for the roof lining and depending what car it come from, may need programing to the car

or you could get a parrot mki9200, which will give you handsfree, bluetooth and mp3 player, may be a easier option

cheers

Joe
