Needle Lights on Speedo and Rev Counter

Featured Replies

I'm hoping someone might be able to help or pass me in the direction of a trusted specialist.

A few weeks ago on my 2011 Face-lift XF 3.0 Diesel Luxury the Speedometer Needle Light went out closely followed by the Rev Counter Needle Light. I've discussed the matter with Jaguar and they have advised that a complete new binnacle is required at a fitted cost in excess of £1,000.

Is this a common problem and is there an alternative to replacing the binnacle.

Any help / suggestions on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
