Hi Everone,

Newbie here. Finally managed to get my hands on a xf after 4 years of saving. All be it buying a damaged one but i'm sure it will be everything I have hoped for when repaired.

I was wondering if someone could help me in identyfying what the wire in the picture is for. I have searched everywhere online and haven't been able to identify it. it's a purple/yellow wired plug that is on the passenger side behind the front bumper i think it clips on to the air con pipe as shown in the picture. I don't think its parking sensor or pedstrian airbag sensor because there seems to be plugs on the bumper that matches to the remaining free plugs i have already hence being a bit baffled by what it is for.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
