5w30 c1 or A5

Hi can someone help me.I have just had my 3.0 diesel Xf serviced.I asked for Casrol 5w30 C1 and garage has used Casrol magnetec stop start 5W30 A5 .Is this ok ??? Thanks

yes its ok, it meets jaguar spec, its a basic Oil though

last time mine was serviced by Jaguar they used Castrol edge professional 5W30 C1 in mine

Thanks for that',as long as it won' t damage the anything I will leave it in ill the next service.

Bit annoyed really as it was C1 that I asked for.
