Hello,

im new to this site having only just bought an s type 3.0 v6 petrol.

i have a slight problem with it if anyone can help?

since buying it, I have noticed that the revs won’t drop below 2k and the car hunts all the way to 3k.

the only time the revs drop is when I come to a stop, put it in neutral and then dip the clutch, can anyone help?

Hi Scott and Welcome to the Club,

No idea myself but other members may well be able to help. I would suggest though that a code reader would be a good investment and would probably shed some light on the root cause(s). Whereabouts in Shropshire are you?
