Hi hope someone can help,

I have an issue with a dealer looking for some expert info.

I had a battery that was the wrong type 54amp output when should have been 60+ 

My fuel pump wasn't running at correct RPM (lower) would the low amp battery cause this or is the pump feed run from the alternator and would the alternator continue to give the pump the correct power. 

Because when I replaced the battery the problem dissapeared. 

Any expert auto electricians out there that can help me.
