I have 2008 X-type with audio/Sat nav touchscreen.

The bluetooth phone link has worked perfectly until yesterday.

Now, when I try to use the phone, I have a blank screen with the message, 'Phone not fitted' This system does not have a phone fitted,

My handset shows bluetooth is connected to the car.

I would be grateful for any suggestions, recommendations.  Thanks

First thing I'd do is disconnect your battery for 15 minutes. Usually does the trick 🙂 If not let me know and can go through m ore detailed diagnostics

Hi, Newby Here. Would the 'battery disconnect for 15mins' work with a 2010 XF without causing any other problems on reconnection? Thanks for any help. Owen
