I have 2008 X-type with audio/Sat nav touchscreen.

The bluetooth phone link has worked perfectly until yesterday.

Now, when I try to use the phone, I have a blank screen with the message, 'Phone not fitted' This system does not have a phone fitted,

My handset shows bluetooth is connected to the car.

I would be grateful for any suggestions, recommendations.聽 Thanks

First thing I'd do is disconnect your battery for 15 minutes. Usually does the trick 馃檪 If not let me know and can go through m ore detailed diagnostics

Hi, Newby Here. Would the 'battery disconnect for 15mins' work with a 2010 XF without causing any other problems on reconnection? Thanks for any help. Owen
