Hi all

I have just bought my first S Type Jaguar and i love it, I wish I had bought one years ago. I hope to visit here many times and hopefully respond to others if I can but for me its all about learning more about this great car.

Hello Andy and welcome. I’m new to Jaguar ownership too, having bought my S type on Thursday of last week. I’m sure, like me, you’ve discovered what a beautiful car they are and you’re no doubt looking through the forum to find any and all information on them.

Hi Andy, and welcome to the club.

I have had my s type for 6 years [2.7 d]  and changing the EGR valves and a water pump have been the only issues.

The car holds the road well, is the epitome of comfort and surprisingly economical.

Just one small piece of advise  --  Batteries last about 5 years as there are a lot of electronics in the car.
