Brake servo

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I need to replace brake servo on my 2007 s type diesel. Can anyone tell me the best place to get a new one from. Getting quoted £550 from Jaguar. Help please.

Hi Gordon

You can get one from Auto Reserve Jaguar (.com) and see if they have one for the XF in stock as this is an improvement and later version than the S Type servo.

Should cost in the region of £160 (used one) part number: XR856588 (supercedes: part number: XR852441)

Fitted one the other day and vastly improved the braking effort, and no noises and losing pressure either.

The original had corrosion build up internally and this was leading to air leaking out through the pedal side of the servo.

Thank you very much. Was getting worried I would have to pay £500 up.
