I am thinking of buying this model and was wondering what if any issues you have found with this car - is there anything that I should look out for when inspecting / driving it.

Hi Mick....welcome to the Club

Depends on the engine as there have been faults documented with certain engines....worth searching through the XF section of the Forum.
I would always try to get an extended warranty if buying from through a Trade sale....even with a Private sales you can buy a warranty to protect against serious issues.

Overall, the XF is a great model and is relatively trouble-free
