Hi all,

Just picked up a 2007 X-Type 2.0D Soveregn Estate with 27K on the clock - glad to say hello!

Hi Steve, Welcome to the club. I have a 2008 2.2 diesel estate auto. Now done 143k. Had a few issues but this is out weighed by the driving pleasure.

Always use premium fuel. Change oil and filter as often as you can afford. Check for rear wiper arm spindle seizing up. Take off clean and grease maybe twice a year. Rear suspension is a bit harsh but I think that gives it good road holding. Hope you enjoy it. I`m at the other end of the M62 near Hull.

Cheers
