Interior lights stopped working

Featured Replies

Lim. Hi. I'm new to the owners club. I've just bought a 2005 2L diesel x type in very good condition.  I thought I would change the interior lights to led's so bought a little kit. Changed them all and it looked smart. The only one that didn't work was the passenger footwell but that one didn't work with a normal bulb either. Fair enough. However, when I went to change the boot light, I didn't take the housing off as I should and as a result   I think I blew a fuse.

I looked online and everyone says it's f55 for the interior lights which is on a 5amp. I have changed this but I still cannot get the lights to work and I'm starting to panic now. Can anyone help and tell me what I've done wrong.  Thanks

Changed the wrong fuse ? Not sure if you checked when you took it out that it had blown, but maybe remove it again. And check it is intact if not there isa short circuit somewhere on the interior lighting circuit..Dave
