Intermittent park brake fault.

Hello gents/ladies 😎 

 

My old S has developed an odd issue, it started around 5 months ago just after the MOT 😉

The Handbrake and "cruise not available" warning come on... 

 

Thinking it was the battery i fitted a new'un. 🙂 

And it was fine, for a while, i pulled into a petrol station threw £30 of Esso's finest in it, upon leaving I hit a series of potholes, and "beep" handbrake and cruise fault reappears. 🙄 

 

Came home and disconnected the battery and left it for 5 minutes, upon reconnecting it all is well.. 😅 

 

I've applied the P brake in excess of 40 times, in a vain effort to re create a fault, however nothing has surfaced.. 

 

Haven't been out on the road since clearing the faults though. 

 

Some say the module is at fault, but surely it would be a permanent problem if that was the case?
