XKR Checklist

Brand new to the site and seeking guidance and wisdom as I may be buying my first Jag.  2001 XKR convert with 122K listed at $7500.  Will haggle price of course but wondering what things I should look for.  Owner claims "excellent" condition.  Any nuances/bugs/common problems that I should be aware of?

Same!!  I'm looking at an XK8/XKR convertible and just want to know what to look out for.  I've been looking for a while and there are a few out there but which model year is the best spec etc.  i'd hate to spend my money then find for another £500 i could have got so much more, or a veh with so many less niggles.

i'm 'savy' as much as i know service history and an amount of dealer care is desirable on such a high spec car etc.

It dosen't look like you got a great response here?  Anyway,  hope you had some luck?
