I have just bought a 2018 reg Sportbrake and I have discovered that the slim line spare wheel that I also bought cannot fit under the floor in the boot space as it has been taken up by electronic stuff.

I massacred the styrofoam mould to try to fit but unlucky !!

The only recourse I can see is to leave the wheel in the luggage space, suitably lashed down obviously. Is it possible to buy another styrofoam mould at a reasonable price ?

What do other owners do please, I now realize that 2017 models can fit the spare wheel correctly, also I should perhaps have bought a diesel, Oh boy it loves drinking petrol !!

Thanks for any advice offered, stay safe out there.

Norman.
