my car is not reliable sometimes it cuts out and the only way to start it is to pressure fil the fuel filter, it the will start and run for 2-10miles before it stops again thought it might be the transfer pump but i filled the tank right up off i went after 2 miles there was a light shuddering 5/6 times this cleared i got home and let it tick over after 10 mins it just stopped, will have to pressure rise the fuel filter again and off she goes again l  

Sounds like the fuel filter may want changing or you have an air leak.

would try filter change first and change the seal as well as the first point of call.

Fuel filter changed and made no difference i put new filter on car wont start until I fill filter with a garden spray pump  bottle to pressure fuel filter and fuel rail release pressure spray put fuel line from tank back  on filter and it starts straight away   thanks mate

how would you find an air leak thanks again
