Battery warning light goes out on start-up but then comes back on within minutes.  H D battery about 2 years old. Can anyone tell me where to start looking to fix problem? Thanks for any advice.

Jim

May not be a battery problem.

Check the voltage on the battery with engine stopped then check the voltage with the engine running. Should be about 14 volts with engine running. If it isn't, get the alternator checked.
