XFS hazard lights flashing whist engine not running

Hi, I was wondering if people could give me some advice. My XFS (2010) decided the best course of action was to develop a hazard lights flashing issue. When the car isn't running the hazard lights will flash and run the battery flat. I've checked for corrosion and the switch appears to work. I'm a bit of a loss, the very helpful (humm) AA man took me to my local jaguar garage and as of yet I've had no response from them. Id appreciate some feedback of people who are in the know as im certainly not.
