Hi newbie with a problem.

When i receive or make a phone call i can hear the other person clearly, but they can't hear me at all. I have trolled the internet and it seems to be a common problem but, with definitive answer. Have tried un-pairing and re-pairing my phone to no avail, i've checked the mic wiring that all seems ok ( the o/h console wiring anyway).

The only thing i have noticed is in the owners handbook it shows a picture of the phone screen with an "options" button on it, which according to the book is where you go to mute the mic' sounds like a clue! only trouble is that options button is missing on my phone screen (there's also a C button used for cancelling number input that's missing) could this be the problem, and if so is there a way around it?

All advice or words of wisdom appreciated

Thanks.

Car's a 2010 3.0 diesel s portfolio with the B&W stereo.

I think the mic is with the door lights in the roof of the car, worth checking nothing has come loose, be surprised if an electronic gremlin.

Hi Darren thanks for the reply.

I've had the roof light console down and checked the wiring and it all looks fine. It seems very weird to me that buttons are missing from my phone screen compared to the pic' in the owners handbook. I wonder if there were different versions of the phone software used, or is there any way to reload the phone software?

Would have thought a pic of the handbook page and the screen in the car would be most helpful. It would enable others with a 2010 car to compare theirs with yours.

Yes sorry the pics you are looking at and the handbook page
