Any suggestions as to how to stop the passenger wing mirror moving down when selecting reverse?  I was told by a very supercilious and important 'sales executive' when I purchased the car 4 weeks ago (XF-S) that 'paper manuals' are no longer supplied and I would have to download it from the internet........which I have done and is a pain to navigate!

I just want the wing mirror to stay where it is!  I understand that if you are parking alongside a kerb it may be useful, but where I live and where I go there are no kerbs - and I just want to see behind me, not on the floor! (I hate the reversing camera as well, so don't use that - i've driven lorries and am used to using mirrors).

Any help/ideas gratefully received!

There is a choice to de select this option in the on screen menus. Normally in the Driving Assistance menu.
