So.. What is the consensus of opinion on the best (budget) diagnostic tool? Hopefully one that will tell me which parking sensor is faulty? Why my washers don't work when engine is on? Why my stop/start won't work occasionally? Etc etc?

Hopefully views from people who have actually used them not "heard" that they "might" work!

Cheers

You need the icarsoft LR2 at least, purely as you have the BMS on the battery. They are fabulous bits of kit though if you do get one, get it from a reputable dealer like diagnostic world.

HI both, I got a iCarsoft EU Pro from diagnostic world. Works fine, covers lots of vehicles, and when you go into the different menus, it has lots of functions. I would recommend one.

I am also interested in this issue as my 3.0D 2010 , 66000m Jaguar XF sends my 4/5 fault notifications which rotate repeatedly then magically clear, indicating that there is no real fault.

However, I’m not very mechanically minded and so I’m thinking of selling this, otherwise, really nice car. Anyone interested?
