Good Morning All,

S type 2006 3litre petrol 56000 miles.

My rear parking sensors/ modules has stopped working,   I believe you have to remove the rear bumper to replace the sensors?

Is it possible to check wether it is the sensors or the module that is faulty.?

There are a lot of sensors on the market does it matter which make being slightly deaf I would prefer a louder one.?

Please keep it simple I am a 80year old grump!

Thank you

Hi i would not think that all the sensors would stop working at the same time so i would think it's the module or maybe a fuse. In my 2002 it's fuse F29  in the drivers side fuse box 5A brown. Hope this helps

Hallo grumpy 1941, her is grumpy 1956. (that is wat de misses call me, it is not correct she is grumpy)

Yes, if you use a big screw driver between the sensor and your ear as a sound transmitter, you will hear the sensor tikking. Like your doctor checking your longs.

yes (2) your rear bumper must go off for a replacement.

Check the booth, sometimes water in the booth is your problem.
