Hazard warning lights not working 2015 XF (65 plate) 2.2 diesel rsport

Featured Replies

My hazard lights have stopped working and it’s not the switch that’s the problem. Indicators work and all four flash when alarm activated from the fob. Had the boot wiring loom replaced some months ago due to boot not opening. Boot now opens on the fob and switch on dash but not on the sensor on the boot itself (are the two related). My independent Jag specialist seems to think so! He’s saying its a control box? £2k to replace new. My mot runs out end of this month and they need to be working to pass. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks Mark

Hi Mark,

Sorry I only just saw this.

I have an XJ and car had this problems but previous owner had a control box that he had not yet fitted.

He got it a lot cheaper ,not from a dealer.

Did you manage to solve the problem? Did you end up going through the dealer?

Kind Regards,

Julie.
