Rear split seat fold down release re-connect issue

Rear seat fold down using pull levers.  The seats don't always unlatch, and when they do they dont always latch back.  Anyone with similar issus?

In reply to my own post. I got on my back  feet towards windscreen and head in the boot.  I was now in a position to see the latch mechanism and operate the pull lever to see what the issue was.  It was a sticking latch mechanism that was preventing the pull lever returning to its latched position.  A little easing of the catch and a squirt of wd40 was all it needed to free it up and solve the problem.
