Rear split seat fold down release re-connect issue

In reply to my own post. I got on my back feet towards windscreen and head in the boot. I was now in a position to see the latch mechanism and operate the pull lever to see what the issue was. It was a sticking latch mechanism that was preventing the pull lever returning to its latched position. A little easing of the catch and a squirt of wd40 was all it needed to free it up and solve the problem. -
Rear seat fold down using pull levers. The seats don't always unlatch, and when they do they dont always latch back. Anyone with similar issus?
