Gents, some time ago I read about a modification to the XK convertible roof control which allows a one click operation using the car's remote control. I think it was made by "Jag man" . Anyone know where I might find one?

Ta!

Hi Peter,

Did you find out how to do it from the remote?

Please enlighten me if you did?

Thanks Paul.

chaps, you can buy the Jag Wrangler upgrade from ADAMESH. Self install, instructions are excellent and it's certainly within range of even the relatively ham fisted like myself. about 400 quid, but it gives you a 'one touch' open/close and also allows you to raise / lower the rear windows according to your choice. Very neat.

A small word of warning on the use of the one touch fob button for roof raise and lower. Whilst it is a nice trick, the recommendation is NEVER raise or lower the roof of a convertible without the engine running. i.e. don't rely on the battery to do the work. Batteries in the X-150 have a hard life and I have always recommended that the battery be replaced at 5 years old. Many, many spurious faults arise from a poor battery and in today's world, the ability to start the car is not the best indication of its health.
