Sensor on  dash – keep saying passenger door is unlocked when it is locked. It came on and then went out.now  Keep doing it. Also keeps setting the alarm off in the day and night put some stuff on the locks and latch stopped for a while altogether now sensor does not come on – at all but alarm goes off a lot, anyhow as neighbours keep complaining now about alarm going off so having to keep doors open

I had the same on the drivers side rear, couldn't find the fault and ended up opening up the door card and bridging the wires to the lock to fool the car into thinking its closed,

I later read it could be a break or short in the wires going into the door on the hinge side.

Hi

usually a dongy door lock, the switch are inside the lock, common fault

you could also just unplug the alarm sounder in the engine bay as a quick fix

cheers

Joe
