Windscreen Wipers not parking properly after wiping

I have a 17 plate XF S, last week I noticed when wipers are urned off or return whn on auto wipe, they do not park down out of site below the bonnet lie as they originally did. The dont stop half way up the screen as i have read with some people but still they are higher than should be and in site and certainly affect aerodynamics. Any help or suggestions welcome ?


There’s a tiny, almost invisible, clear dot on the black border of the windscreen glass that the wiper tip is meant to park at

It used to park down out of site, but now its higher I can even see under the wiper. Wondered if its something a dealer or specialist can reset?

I think the explanation is that yours is a 17 plate and mine is a 14 plate
