Hi all,  I have just purchased my old girl S-type 2.7 V6 diesel.

She is on the road but is going to be a project as she has been un loved for a few years.

Firstly when I break doing above 40 I am getting a juddering on the steering wheel until I lift off, is this a problem any of you have come across and is it expensive to fix.

Also it was advertised as a sports model but I think it's just been asteticaly messed with as it has darkened repeater wing indicators and the jaguar word and chrome strip on the boot has been blacked out but on my S-type I had 10 years ago it was chrome.

Also I can tell weather its been dropped with different suspension or got bigger wheels on it.

I want to bring it back to original as I feel a jaguar S-type saloon should be all about class and style and NOT to look sports gangster.

Can anyone comment and advise please.

Hi

should be straight forward to put back to factory

the juddering might be the front brake discs, which is quite common to juddering  brakes

cheers

Joe
