Hi there, I have a 2007 x type 3 litre x 4 wheel drive estate, with 68.000 miles.

I asked my local garage to do a gearbox and transfer box Oil change.

they said they had an ex- jaguar-Land Rover technician who said that it caused more problems than it solved, and that they recommend “not to fix what ain’t broke”. Any comments on this as I would have thought that changing 16 year old fluid was a good move?

Also, I have a split tail gate with a glass top section which has its own gas struts. Does any body know where I can purchase some new ones and what is involved in fitting them?
